Brief: Design and animate 5 10 second retro idents for the group ‘Punks Jump Up’ to be used in their new music video, ‘Blockhead’.
Solution: The text elements were animated in Cinema 4D and all post was done in After Effects. In order to replicate the retro look of idents of the 70′s/80′s, colours were washed out with a variation in hue around the e, a slight amount of film grain was layered on top and a small amount of vertical camera movement has been employed to suggest playback from an old VCR.
